Congratulations to our November Hometown Hero, William Herbert. William currently works as the Infectious Disease Coordinator on 2 unit with the Columbus Division of Fire and goes over and beyond in his job duties for his fellow firefighters. This past year, William was directly involved in updating and improving the services to firefighters by working with Mt. Carmel and Ohio Health. During the pandemic he provided services and attention to all of the families of firefighters who passed away due to COVID. He met with the families regularly and followed up on to make sure the families received the benefits they were entitled.
