Mark Rine
Columbus
Presenting our Hometown Hero for September, Columbus City Firefighter & Paramedic, Executive Assistant of Columbus Fire Local 67 and Assistant Director of Firefighter Cancer Support Network Mark Rine! Mike is also co-founder and Director of the SKNLUV foundation, an organization that provides education and prevention from Melanoma for first responders. In July 2015, with the help of State Rep. Christina Hagan, Mark introduced House Bill (HB) 292. HB 292 will provide recognition of cancer in the fire service, and allow benefits for first responders who battle occupational cancer everyday. Congratulations, Mark!
