Congratulations to our February Hometown Hero Firefighter John Hammel. Firefighter Hammel is celebrating 32 years with the Columbus Division of Fire and currently is assigned to Rescue 3. Hammel is a lead instructor for the ice rescue training program not only for the company level, but division wide. Hammel continues to demonstrate leadership and exemplifies the true meaning of a first responder.
