Congratulations to our September Hometown Hero, Michael Sigman! Michael has been a Genoa Township K-9 Officer for 3 years now, and has been a credit to his department, Township, and community in many ways. When he began as a patrol officer, Officer Sigman was especially dedicated to keeping Township roads safe from drunk drivers and made over 80 arrests. Officer Mike Sigman’s dedication to keeping our roads safe from drunk drivers earned him the “Top Cop” award in 2015 from Mothers Against Drunk Driving. He is a strong advocate for the group and goes above and beyond to help the cause.
K-9 Officer Mike Sigman is the kind of person who personifies the best of those who wear a badge. He is hardworking, kind, smart, humble, and gives 110% to his community. Congratulations to Michael, and thank you for making Genoa a safe Township for everyone!
